[Seoul Design 2022] is Korea’s representative design MICE event held at the same time as the Seoul citizens’ festivals “Seoul Design Week” and design business launching show “DDP Design Fair,” respectively. The organizer Seoul Design Foundation has expanded the period of the event from 7 to 15 days and the place to the area surrounding DDP and into a virtual space. Also, by greatly expanding the number of design professionals, we aim to make Seoul Design the country’s leading design event in the world.
The main theme of [Seoul Design 2022] is entitled ‘Beautiful Life’
The theme aims to encourage the beautiful life reclaimed after the Covid-19 pandemic and to communicate the role and value of design for a sustainable future.
[Seoul Design 2022] introduces design firms that lead global trends in Korea and abroad, hotspots of Seoul design, and new design products created based on collaborations between designers and small local businesses. The event also presents various programs designed to reflect the creative imagination of young designers and launch new jobs and businesses.
